Get-together on completion of one year of GSECL

At Air Cargo Complex, Ahmedabad GSECL has organized a get-together on completion of one year. On this occasion, CMD Mr.Rakesh R.Shah of GSECL in his speech stated that the challenge task of renovation of infrastructure, mechanizing of material handling equipments, effective utilization of space, introduction of a long pending requirement of bonded trucking, erection of cold storage etc. has been completed by GSECL.

He also stated that the ADC office at Air Cargo Complex will have space to accommodate more staff and laboratory facility too. This infrastructure to cater the demand of the trade will help the pharma industry. All these could happen due to dedicated hard work put in by entire GSECL team.

Also there was continuous support from Mr.Sarkar, Asst.Commissioner of Customs and Mr.Jha. GSECL have adopted a concept of One Family, One Roof and One Aim to serve customer better every movement.

GSECL is working on the philosophy of ‘Spreading Wings to Serve’. The first steps towards it is to bring more professionalism in work and also wish to implement highest quality standard of ISO. GSECL will be getting soon the certificate of ISO 9001:2000.

GSECL will be online with customs EDI system as soon as computerized process is over. On this occasion, present on dias were Shri P.C.Jha (Chief Commissioner of Customs), Shri K.L.Indra (Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad), Shri N.S.Jaldhari (Airport Director & G.M. (Proj&Engg.), Mr.Samir Patel (GCCI, Secretary), Ms.Bhagyesh Soneji (President-Foreign Trade) and Mr.Samir Mankad (Director,GSECL).

Eminent personalities from trade include Shri Jyotindra Kothari (ACCHA President), Shri Samir Shah (President Exim Club) Shri Pinakin Pandya (Chairman-ACAAI, Ahmedabad Region) and Shri Ramkisan (Asst.Drug Controller) and representatives of trade and association were also present at the occassion.
